Impactante día para el mundo del cine. Gran conmoción entre los actores tras darse a conocer que Philip Seymour Hoffman fue encontrado sin vida en su apartamento de New York. Esto dijeron los famosos al respecto.
El conocido actor y ganador de Oscar, Philip Seymour Hoffman dejó el mundo ésta tarde de domingo de una forma inesperada.
El actor, quien fue reconocido por la Academia por su performance en «Capote», tenía solo 46 años. De acuerdo con el medio digital TMZ, Hoffman tenía una jeringa en su brazo cuando su cuerpo fue encontrado.
El actor, fue internado en varias ocasiones por abuso de sustancias en el pasado. En 2013, ingresó nuevamente en rehabilitación tras caer bajo su influencia, y consumir pastillas mientras esnifaba heroína. Sólo permaneció en tratamiento por 10 días.
Philip se encontraba casado con Mimi O’Donnell, con quien tuvo tres hijos: Cooper, Tallulah y Willa. Su familia emitió el siguiente comunicado:
«Nos encontramos devastados por la perdida de nuestro amado Phil y apreciamos el inmenso amor y apoyo que hemos recibido de todos. Esto es una tragedia y una perdida incalculable, así que les pedimos que respeten nuestra privacidad durante el servicio funebre. Por favor mantengan a Phil en sus pensamientos y plegarias».
Actualmente el actor se encontraba en pleno rodaje de una serie, que dio a conocer su lanzamiento la semana pasada. Incluso se encontraba trabajando en su rol de Plutarch Heavensbee de las próximas dos películas de «The Hunger Games», que aún no han sido terminadas. Obviamente no se sabe aún como continuará el proceso sin él.
Tan pronto como se supo la noticia de su muerte, celebridades, fans y amigos volcaron su dolor en Twitter, red social por la que llegaron las condolencias y buenos recuerdos a la familia del actor.
