Desde las 7:00 p.m., Warner Channel transmiti\u00f3\u00a0el Emmy 2016, uno de los mayores premios de la televisi\u00f3n en Estados Unidos. Jimmy Kimmel, el presentador, se introdujo a s\u00ed mismo en una secuencia de la serie \u00abAmerican Crime: The People v. O.J. Simpson\u00bb, tras lo cual realiz\u00f3 un ‘carpool karaoke’ con su colega James corden.\u00a0Minutos despu\u00e9s empez\u00f3 el evento oficial.<\/p>\n

En su primera hora, el Emmy 2016 confirm\u00f3 que\u00a0Julia Louis-Dreyfus mantiene el\u00a0t\u00edtulo de\u00a0Mejor Actriz Principal de Serie C\u00f3mica, esto gracias a su rol como Selina Meyer en \u00abVeep\u00bb de HBO. Ella recibi\u00f3 el premio entre l\u00e1grimas y agradeciendo a su padre, quien falleci\u00f3 hace unos d\u00edas.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Netflix se llev\u00f3 su primer galard\u00f3n de la noche por la serie \u00abMaster of None\u00bb, protagonizada por Aziz Ansari (\u00abParks and Recreation\u00bb).<\/p>\n

El drama \u00abGame of Thrones\u00bb de HBO\u00a0se llev\u00f3 tres estatuillas en la noche, con lo cual obtiene un total de 38 en sus seis a\u00f1os de existencia. Es la serie m\u00e1s premiada en toda la historia del Emmy.<\/p>\n
